Il a notamment reçu la Médaille de la paix des Nations unies en 1983. Ainsi, il écrit dans <em>La Sagesse pour créer le bonheur et la paix</em> : « <em>La reconnaissance et la joie multiplient notre bonne fortune. La plainte et la négativité l’effacent.</em> […] “C’est le cœur qui est important.” Il n’y a pas de mots plus vrais que ceux-là. Les êtres humains sont faibles et facilement enclins à tomber dans la plainte, le ressentiment, l’envie et le découragement.
